So here is our quick list of ‘What not to miss’ during your stay at Koro Sun Resort and Rainforest Spa.

Start your week with the Vuadomo Village and Waterfall Tour. A morning excursion, you will be driven up into the hills of Savusavu and down deep into the rainforest where you will get to visit the Vuadomo villagers. Experience the cultural presentation conducted to seek permission from the village before an easy trek to Vuadomo Waterfall. Cool off with a plunge or rock jump into the crystal clear waters of the natural” swimming pool.

This tour runs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. After a tropical snack (usually plucked from the local plantations at Vuadomo you will be driven back to the resort, just in time for lunch. This trip is often tagged by many of our guests as the ‘if you only do one trip make sure this is it’ activity.

When you stay at Koro Sun we want you to feel that you are part of our family and ththis includes getting the chance to capture some of the best views of the island. There is no better way to do this from the top. You will be transported to the premium accommodation on the resort, the Mountain Top Villa where you can chat to the Manager and experience spectacular views of the coastline from the balcony. Drink in the sunset with our complimentary Koro Cocktail Punch and some Fijian style hors d’oeuvres.

Take a trip into town* on the busiest day of the week to purchase some keepsakes and souvenirs. A stop off at the local Hot Springs gives you the insiders view on how the locals do their cooking before taking a stroll down the main street of Savusavu. Visit the bustling markets and check out some local handicraft stores. Take a stroll along the edge water promenade or cool off with an ice cream from the newest cafe on the block.
